Maria "Vicky" Aguilar had been my nurse for two nights. She had been gentle, kind, and accommodating in every aspect of my nursing care. She would share all the results when asked, and explain every intervention in detail with lots of patience. Most importantly, she had the ability to think outside the box. I had an issue with tolerating my salt tabs. Every time I take salt tabs, I would not tolerate it and throw up. She came up with the idea to crush and put it in a dissolvable pill so I don't get irritation. That resolved the nausea and vomiting issues. I truly am thankful for all her efforts and for putting patients first over everything else. God bless her!
