Maribel is being honored because she made such an impression on a critically ill patient's family. She was nominated separately by not only the patient's wife, but also his brother, and son. "She was so kind and respectful. She kept giving him positive comments to encourage him to recover. I am not exaggerating when I say she was a real angel. I am his son and I was jealous feeling there is someone who can serve my dad with love better than me. And if I didn't know he is my father, I would have said she is taking care of her own fatheror even the love of her life. Finally, there are no words that I can use to express how thankful and grateful am I for the extraordinary kindness and service that she provided every time I saw her around my dad. I will feel completely safe and satisfied that my dad will receive the best treatment he could."
From the patient's wife,

She is not only helping my husband getting through his hard time here by encouraging him and supporting him with positive and happy vibes. But she is also one of the reasons that I am holding on through this hard time till now. Never seen a kindness, and goodness, and someone who loves their job and do it in the best way it can be done like her. She is taking care of my husband more than I can ask for.
