Marne exhibits all of the qualities of a DAISY Award recipient. She is caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable.
Marne began her career as a Certified Nurse Assistant in 2004 where she worked on a Labor and Delivery unit for five years. During that time, she pursued her nursing education and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010. She then joined a primary care practice, working as a Triage, Anticoagulation, and Resource Nurse. In 2019, Marne moved with her family to Florida, where she joined the Orlando Health South Lake Hospital team as a nurse on the Observation unit. She is currently pursuing a PCCN certification. In addition to her dedication to continuing her personal career growth, she is involved in coordinating educational opportunities for the unit and is the unit representative on the hospital’s peer review committee.

Her care for her patients goes above and beyond and truly makes her patients feel secure and comfortable. Marne is described as being “so sweet, caring, and kind” and “always having a smile that made me feel better”. She spends time with each patient, making sure what is important to them is addressed promptly, and all the while making them feel like they are important.
