My husband was rushed to the ER with potential stroke symptoms.  After several hours of evaluation and care, he was transferred, where he benefitted from Mary Beth's attentiveness.  
 
It was clear that her presence was more than just a professional duty; it was a profound demonstration of compassionate care. Mary Beth's engaging manner was immediately evident.  Given the warmth she conveyed to an onlooker, it would have seemed as if she were a close friend of the family.  Her skilled nursing care was matched by her attentive response.  
 
She took the time to engage with B about his military career and lightened the atmosphere with her delightful sense of humor. Her ability to balance professional expertise with personal connection was phenomenal. Mary Beth left an indelible mark on our hearts.  Minutes prior to B's dismissal, she pulled up a chair, sat down, and conversed briefly. Her kindness was so impactful that we hugged her goodbye and were comforted by her escort to the exit.  
 
Mary Beth exemplifies what it means to be an Extraordinary Nurse.  Our family is deeply grateful for her dedication and compassionate service.
