I must first start by saying that after being a patient for a year at MD Anderson in Gilbert, there are several people who demonstrate excellence, but there are always a few who shine above all others. Mary Davis, is just such a person.
Mary works directly with Dr.D, Division Chief, Medical Oncology. Being a patient of Dr. D I see Mary prior to seeing the Dr. What a great person, empathetic, caring, warm, professional, but most of all an unbelievable sense of humor. For a cancer patient, like myself, that sense of humor means everything. It helps me stay positive and for that period of time helps me forget about me problems.
When I contact Mary after hours with a concern, whether it be over a weekend of anytime, Mary always gets back to me with an answer. This to me is incredible which is why I am nominating Mary Davis for the DAISY Award who more than meets what the award stands for. You can be very proud to have her representing your wonderful facility.
