During my mother’s hospital stay on Neuro A, after suffering a massive stroke, she became very anxious and unable to regulate her sleep. She would call out for help and repeat her questions and requests over and over. Mary responds the same way every time, with kindness and a smile, holding her hand and comforting her.

Mary demonstrates an unwavering commitment to quality and excellence, regularly checking and assessing my mother and ensuring her needs were met. Her proactive approach led to the early detection of issues. Mary not only provided attentive care to my mother, but she also showed tremendous kindness to me and my elderly father. She has a smile that lights up the room and the sweetest disposition, no matter what the challenges are. She happily answered our questions and requests, would notify the physicians if she couldn’t answer my questions, and never showed any frustration.

She kept me informed about the plan of care and promptly updated me whenever something changed. I am immensely grateful for Mary’s expertise, diligence, and compassionate approach to nursing, which undoubtedly contributed to my mother’s well-being during her hospital stay, as well as providing comfort to my family during what has been the most difficult time of our lives. Despite the numerous challenges in healthcare and nursing, I found renewed faith in Mary’s unwavering commitment to the timeless art of nursing.
