I had emergency surgery to get my gallbladder removed. When I came to my recovery room I was an anxious wreck and was having a panic attack. Mary Grace was here to comfort me and make me feel safe. I am a new mom, I had my baby here back in July and was having separation anxiety. Grace is the pure example of what a loving, caring nurse should be. Not only her care for me but making sure my husband was comfortable as well. She went above and beyond. She showed so much compassion in helping me to the bathroom and helping me walk. Always asking if I was in pain and if there was anything I need to let her know immediately. I have been blessed every time I come to Methodist Hospital I always leave with a great experience. People ask me how my stay at the hospital was and truly my nurses made the biggest impact on how an unexpected stay can become a pleasant stay.
