Mary was the most incredible patient and family advocate today. A patient had a difficult course in the OR/Cath Lab and ultimately died. Mary kept the family updated throughout, bonded with the patient's husband and parents, and provided immeasurable comfort. She stayed hours after her shift was over and was the family's confidant and lifeline throughout.
