This is Mary Jane Bullen's second DAISY Award, the first was in June, 2012.
Her Patient wrote: I was here in 2011, Mary Jane was my nurse. She was so caring. She uplifted my spirits and took excellent care of me. She made my stay special. I was depressed having been here thru the holidays and away from my son. She took me out of my room, to the gift shop and we had tea. I was released before I could thank her. Due to my illness I was not able to visit.
This stay when I was moved down to rehab, she came running up to me with her big smile welcoming me back. She remembered me! I immediately knew I was in good hands. She comforted me and told me how good I was looking and had many more positive words. She let me know she would be there if I needed anything, even if I just needed someone to talk to.
Christ Hospital is so lucky to have such a great loving, caring, employee. She is wonderful and goes the distance for her patients care, comfort, and she meets our needs. Thank you for having such a great nurse and very special person.
