Every day my wife was in the hospital, I sat in awe of this amazing person taking care of her. She was so good at her job, friendly, and caring.
My wife was recently in the hospital at Integris Yukon, and by some stroke of luck or fate, she got Mary Wallace for her nurse. We had been in the ER all day before she was admitted and put in a room. We were tired, heartbroken, and my wife was really sick. Mary walked into the room with a big smile on her face, even though we could tell she was tired from long hours of overtime and lots of sick patients. She immediately started tending to my wife as if she was the only patient in the hospital. She fixed her bed, got her IV started, covered her up with warm blankets, and made the tube down her nose and into her stomach as comfortable as possible. I was in the room with my wife from 7 a.m. until they kicked me out at 7 p.m., and every day she was in the hospital, I sat in awe of this amazing person taking care of my wife. She was so good at her job, friendly, and caring. It made a horrible situation not so bad. It takes a special person to take such good care of someone you are not even related to like they were your own daughter. Mary made us very comfortable with Integris Hospital as a whole. We were so impressed with the way my wife was taken care of that we are switching doctors from our family doctor of 30 years to a doctor at Integris. For sure this girl, who has to be one of God's angels taking care of another one of God's angels, is a DAISY Nurse. Thank you.
