Besides all her intellectual knowledge she treated us like we were the most important patients and gave us full attention never rushing.
My husband has been seeing a doctor here regarding a surgery that is needed and we lived in Anchorage AK. MaryAnn from the beginning helping and organizing with arranging everything prior to coming. MaryAnn answered all our questions with such knowledge confidence and help. She put us at ease with detailed and understandable information. Finally, we met MaryAnn at my husband's pre-op appointment before surgery. Besides all her intellectual knowledge she treated us like we were the most important patients and gave us full attention never rushing. Explained very thoroughly what to expect the next day.
The day after surgery we had an appointment with the surgeon and her. His bandages were changed and we got to see the incisions. After it was bandaged back up it was too tight and he was feeling pain. MaryAnn had left the room for a moment and when she came back my husband asked her if she could redo it. She did and it was done perfectly and there was no more pain. MaryAnn also went to look for this special shower bag for him. That was so nice of her, above and beyond.
Nowadays when you seek medical help you feel like just a number and you're rushed through not given any time. She again knew there was an X-ray already downloaded on the computer and pulled it up. It may appear that MaryAnn was just doing her job and we would agree with that however she went above and beyond her professionalism. You can't call kindness and caring a job duty. That comes from someone's personality and character.
