This nurse has exceeded our expectations. She has gone not just the extra mile but ran the whole entire marathon. One specific occasion that stood out was when a patient who was getting discharged, at the last minute did not have transportation. Mayte went out of her way on her day off, picked up the patient took her to her Doctor’s appointment, waited with her, and even took her home afterward. This is one of many occasions where Mayte has made a difference in our patients' lives. She is always happy and caring with all of our patients, families, and staff. I am so proud of all that she has accomplished and the excellent job that she continues to display.
