Megan was our day nurse after my child had a g-button installed, and she was amazing. From the moment we met Megan, she just had this calming presence that made us feel so much better. Our kid has low-functioning autism, and he took to her right away - which is saying something! She was so good with him, getting him to let her take his vitals without a fuss. What really touched me was how she asked about his sensory issues and tried to make him comfortable.

Megan didn't just take care of our son - she took care of us too. She showed us around, helped us find food, and made sure we knew everything about our room. When it came time to learn about the g-button equipment, she was so patient. She even told us to write down our questions so we wouldn't forget anything important. When we decided to get a g-button for our child, we were beyond scared. But Megan's guidance made all the difference. By the time we left the hospital, we actually felt confident we could handle this new challenge.

It's been almost two weeks since the surgery now, and I can honestly say we wouldn't be doing as well as we are without Megan. Our child is thriving with his new G-tube, and I feel like I can handle whatever comes up with his equipment. She made a scary time so much easier, and we'll never forget that. She set up our family for success in a way we will never be able to thank her enough for.
