Megan was an extraordinary nurse to my daughter when she was at Duke Raleigh Hospital. She was highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable, and very compassionate. Megan was very patient with my daughter and explained everything that was going to take place before she did anything. When she needed to enter the room at night, while my daughter was sleeping, she was quiet and respectful of her rest. Megan reacted to our needs right away. After taking a medication, my daughter broke out in a rash and Megan immediately did everything she could to make her feel better and keep her comfortable. Megan showed empathy for the pain and suffering that my daughter was going through during this rough time. When Megan was in the room tending to my daughter, she made us feel like our daughter was her only patient. She was never rushed. It was very clear that Megan loves her job and truly cares about her patients. She was truly a wonderful nurse and we will never forget her and the great care she provided.
