I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for Megan Harrington's incredible care and support during a challenging night with our newborn. For the first time, I was feeling anxious and overwhelmed due to my baby boy’s low blood sugar. Her kindness and professionalism made a world of difference! She seriously listened to my concerns but left me feeling supported and heard. Her calm and reassuring presence put me at ease when she walked into our room. She took the time to explain everything, clearly addressing my concerns with patience and sympathy. Her expertise and gentle guidance were invaluable, helping me navigate the difficulties of breastfeeding and ensuring my baby received the care he needed. She reminded me that I wasn't at fault for the situation, low blood sugars, sleep deprivation, hormone surges, etc. She comforted me with her presence, solace, and reminders that my baby and I are learning together. Despite the long and stressful night, her dedication and compassion did not go unnoticed. She remained attentive and encouraging, always ready with comforting words or helpful suggestions. Her support gave me the strength and confidence to persevere during those trying hours and bouts of hormone surges. I cannot thank her enough for her unwavering support and exceptional care. She truly went above and beyond, and I will always be grateful for her kindness during a new, scary, unknown, and overwhelming time. As a fellow nurse, I understand the demands and difficulties of the job, but she let me just be a mom to this beautiful baby boy.
