My first experience with Megan was in 2020, when she worked in the birthing unit at JRMC. It was during COVID-19, and I was about to have my second baby—completely alone. She noticed me crying, grabbed a Kleenex box, and sat on my bed with me until I was okay.

Fast forward to 2024, and I’m pregnant again. This time, I was referred to JRMC Clinic STAT due to concerning levels. Megan happened to be my nurse again, but this time, she had to deliver the heartbreaking news that I was having an ectopic pregnancy. Once again, she reached for the Kleenex box and sat with me, talking me through this difficult moment.

I have had many amazing experiences at JRMC, but Megan is truly special. She has a gentle and comforting soul and genuinely cares about the patients she serves.
