Meghan has superior medical/clinical knowledge and thoroughness. She assessed and handled every situation in the care of this complex sepsis patient quickly and efficiently. She managed appropriately the clinical specialists by altering them when necessary for vent/breathing issues, scheduling advice to physical and occupational therapists based on tolerance of patient transport to radiology etc. She did this while supervising a trainee. Her calm, friendly, caring demeanor brought comfort to the family. Her husband had been bedside 12-14 hours for 28 days. Meghan was truly a breath of fresh air, an illuminating DAISY even in the darkest of moments.
