I gave birth to my first child in June of 2023. I was scared and nervous for the labor process and had already been in the hospital for almost two days when I met Mindy. 

The induction process was lengthy and I was not mentally prepared for the discomfort I was enduring. When I met Mindy when she came onto her shift, I immediately had a sense of ease. 

All of the nurses that I had encountered during my time were wonderful, however Mindy's care was truly memorable. Mindy started her shift by coming into the labor room, introducing herself to me, my husband, and my mother. She then did her safety checks and started to feng shui the room. Her bedside manner was incredible. 

As I progressed along, Mindy was attentive and was always steps ahead with my care. As a nurse myself, I appreciated her communication skills and anticipatory guidance for what was to come. She was an incredible cheerleader during the labor process and also had my husband get involved with the birth of our son. My husband noted how special it was to have been included during the labor process and felt that Mindy guided him and supported him greatly. 

I have a picture from when my son was born and you can see how big Mindy's smile is in the background and it always brings tears to my eyes. Mindy is an amazing nurse and I know her patients are so fortunate to have her as their advocate. 

I feel so fortunate to have crossed paths with Mindy and to have had her as my nurse as I gave birth to my son. I cannot thank you enough, Mindy!
