Nurse Melissa was working the night shift when my dad was admitted. I noticed immediately that Melissa is a top-notch nurse. She is a loving, caring professional. She explained in both medical terms and yet simplifying it for the patient's understanding. A real class act of a nurse who has not let the difficulties of her profession affect her care for the patient and the family of the patient. I was impressed with her work ethic as she did whatever the patient needed. She did not ask for someone else to do what she felt she could do herself, even if it was not her place. I recognized quickly that her love and joy would go far beyond the healing of the physical body. I'm extremely blessed to know the next person will receive the care and treatment that we received from Melissa. She is an exceptional nurse who gives outstanding care. She touched our hearts with her experience and love for her profession. As someone who has worked in the medical field and has a mother who is a retired nurse, I know first-hand how important nurses are. Melissa did so much more than her job. Thank you Melissa
