Melissa was not just a nurse for our son during his stay in the NICU, but became a part of his family. She shows how much she cares by going above and beyond to make your stay and child's care the best it can be. She was there for not only supporting the life of my son, but for family support as well. To her, it is obvious, her work is MORE than just a job, it's her passion. A passion which helped strengthen my family when we needed it most. I can truly say she was a MAJOR part in my family's survival of our son's cancer diagnosis, chemotherapy treatments beginning at 10 days old, and the ups and downs of life as we went on the St. Jude's roller coaster. Melissa and my family are still in touch to this day, and consider her family.
