While in my 4 day stay. I definitely have to say thank you to Melissa. Melissa was phenomenal.. there are a few reasons why, and you will hear them... Melissa knew my anxiety about pain and needles. However, every time she needed to do her job, she handled me with care. Even when flushing out the IV, she did it with ease(others not so much) ... Melissa had a great positive attitude and even would converse with me about my love of football. That helped ease my anxiety, something that distracted me while I was in pain. When I had my guests, she was pleasant with them and adjusted the timing of my meds... I know I could be a lot to handle (sarcastic, sometimes rude, etc); however, when she worked, it was a jovial time, especially with my roommate. Having her for two days and being consistent made the experience a little easier. Also, she helped me find my wallet. My wallet had a lot of important cards and IDs... with a little patience and detective work we were able to find my wallet and I owe it to her.... I wish I could say thanks to her for everything she did before I got discharged, but I never got to. My roommate talked about this recognition and I wanted to make a point to praise her. I could go on, but I think whoever is reading this can understand why she needs to be recognized.  Thanks, Melissa, for just doing a great job...
