Michael went out of his way to find my mom a comfortable chair to sit in. This was even though he was being called back and forth to attend to other duties. Finding a comfortable chair might not seem like a big deal, but for my mom it was. She is 86 and had just had surgery for a broken hip and was in quite a bit of pain. Michael's acts of kindness and determination made such a big difference in my mom's care.
Michael answered my many questions in a forthright and compassionate manner. I was overwrought with concerns and not only did he educate me in many health matters, but he also took precious time to make sure I understood his answers. He not only was treating my mom, but in a way I too, was his patient.
Such an attitude of serving. We are at our most vulnerable when we or a loved one is sick, and Michael showed such a servant's heart. I cannot say enough about this young man and his dedication to his profession.
