My mother had a heart attack and was in the ICU for over a week healing. She was feisty and scared when she woke up from her intubation. Mike’s compassion and understanding helped immensely in the recovery of my mother’s path to health. He had seen and deescalated situations that could have been a fight or flight situation and brought joy and humor in place of fear. He was very attentive to her medications, mobility, and helped her find a happy medium to continue feeling supported and safe in an environment that could be scary for her. I very much appreciate his encouragement and how well he maintained a smooth transition so that my mother felt at ease during her stay.
