Our son had been in and out of the hospital and we encountered a lot of nurses and physicians. There was this particular nurse with whom we were greatly impressed. One time, he was crying a lot for no particular reason. Nurse Michelle came and took him outside to play. She stayed until he was pacified, and she showed great compassion towards him. She even showed great interest in me and asked about my wellbeing. As a mother who gets to stay most of the time in the hospital caring for a sick child, it was a great relief to know that someone is concerned and is available to talk. She went on to ask if I needed anything. It was not only my son she was caring for, I felt that I was part of her priorities too. She is caring, gentle and loving. Each admission, our son looks for her and I must admit I am praying that she will be with us every time we stay here. Michelle is very special to us.
