Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital
The minute Michelle walks into the room the whole atmosphere changes.
Recently, my and my family's lives changed forever. My husband was admitted to Huntley Hospital ICU. What became one of the hardest days of our lives became much brighter with the help of a very special nurse, Michelle A.
Michelle has an amazing gift and is an outstanding nurse. She was so attentive not only to my husband but my family as well.
The minute she walks into the room the whole atmosphere changes. She explained everything so well and made sure we understood everything she was doing and why she was doing it. She absolutely leads by example.
Eventually, we made the decision for Hospice, and even though she was not our nurse she came to see him and my family. We would love for Michelle to be honored with a DAISY Award. She is so deserving and we truly feel Northwestern Medicine is a better place because of her.
