Michelle was recognized by the Lung Center Team for being an exemplary representation of a DAISY Nurse! In their nomination they stated that Michelle "is always willing to jump in and help wherever she is needed, she is truly an amazing NP always willing to go above and beyond to help meet the needs of our patients and staff."
Michelle's colleagues also shared that she is not only a healthcare provider but also a friend to her patients. They look forward to their visits with her because she truly listens to them. She knows not only about their disease, but also their families, friends, triumphs, and tribulations. Michelle is accommodating and welcoming, no matter how busy she is, and does her job with a twinkle in her eyes and a smile on her face.
One colleague shared that they once heard Michelle say to the team "tell me what I can do for you, my next patient isn't until 12:40." It was 12:38.
