Michelle demonstrated passion beyond what her job required during the duration of our stay. The compassion, empathy, love, and selflessness were shown in many ways. She took extra time to try in many ways to connect with our 4-year-old daughter. One example of what she did was hanging up pictures all throughout the hall of animals. She liked to make her walks more pleasurable. She also found stickers and markers and turned it into a treasure hunt. Michelle knew our daughter was having a hard time walking and before long our daughter couldn't wait to go on her next walk. All the nurses were great, but Michelle stood out the most and deserves this award.
