My husband was in the hospital for over two weeks. After being in the hospital for 6 days, my husband had to have surgery. The day he had surgery, he was a nervous wreck, because it was an emergency type of surgery.
After surgery, myself and my in-laws were waiting to see my husband. We waited over an hour with no updates, other than he was going to ICU and they would let us know something soon. I went to the nurse's station; Michelle could see my face and worry. Michelle immediately picked up her phone, made one phone call, and gave us the answer we were needing. A few minutes later, Michelle came to us to let us know she walked all the way down to recovery to check on him. Michelle also let us know how he looked and his condition.
Every day she worked, she always checked on us even when she wasn't his nurse for that day. Michelle helped and answered all the many questions I had while we were there. She always goes above and beyond to help people. She has the most giving, caring, and loving heart and soul of any nurse!
