Our mom/gram had a triple bypass and aortic valve replacement. Needless to say, our entire family as nervous and on edge. Michelle called the surgical waiting room prior to us speaking to the doctor. She told us what exactly was going on and what would be happening over the course of the next 3-4 hours. She was so on point. When we got to see our mom, she was so thorough and explained every tube and IV running. When we got to see my mon once the ventilator was removed, again, Michelle was so caring and compassionate to us. She answered every question and even combed our mom's hair so she looked nice. Everyone who took care of our mom during her SICU were great, but Michelle specifically calmed our nerves. We left the hospital confident that our mom was in good hands. Michelle was our first introduction to the SICU. She set the tone for our mom's hospital stay and made it a great, confident experience.
