Mikhayla portrays what it means to be the perfect team player, charge nurse, and an amazing team lead. Each day she comes to work, she makes sacrifices to ensure her team is taken care of. I know I can trust her when she is in charge. I personally believe that she deserves a DAISY Award because she is the prime example of a passionate nurse who shows empathy to her team and patients. She is trustworthy and a team player, very admirable, loves her patients and her profession, and, most importantly, is selfless. I am fortunate enough to work with her, and it is a privilege to grow with her daily.
