Because of Mini, many children are given a second chance to experience life and to grow into the people that they will ultimately be.
Mini is a role model displaying extraordinary behavior. Her composure and skill in quick decision-making during stressful lifesaving/altering situations have led to many of our precious babies’ lives being saved in L&D and in the NICU.
As a result of her, our premature and post-mature babies are surviving and thriving. This alone is proof that Mini is the ultimate superhero. Because of Mini, many children are given a second chance to experience life and to grow into the people that they will ultimately be. She promotes the image of nursing within our organization and the profession as a provider in rendering compassion and patience to parents and babies.
During this period of time when many parents often feel frightened, numb, helpless, and unsure of what will occur, Mini comforts them and alleviates their fears through action. She recognizes, understands, and addresses the parents’ concerns and responds to the fears of the unknown. Respecting and communicating with parents removes barriers, and promotes compassionate care for the entire family unit. Mini is hardworking and has earned mutual respect and trust from her team, colleagues, physicians, nurses, and families alike.
