I noticed Miranda visiting a baby and rocking him in her arms when she had other tasks like catching up on charting (she spent extra time with this baby, regardless of it making her leave a little late). She said this solely because this baby rarely has visitors and greatly desires extra attention. On numerous occasions, Miranda has gone above and beyond to give attention to this baby (and others) when she could have been on her phone or chatting with other nurses. She also brings this baby toys and clothes because his mother doesn't have the ability to do so. She always pays close attention to all the patients, even if they aren't "hers" and she is genuinely interested in helping them feel comfortable and safe. Miranda pays attention and is very aware of her patients' needs. She has a phenomenal attitude and is a role-model for compassionate care.
