Mohammad is a senior nurse manager of the Surgical Unit at King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) and a member of the Jordan Nurses and Midwives Council for two consecutive cycles. He is a true example of nursing excellence, an outstanding leader, and a great representative face of KHCC. Mohammad has a great understanding of staff and patients' daily needs. He exceeded expectations to enable others to work safely and efficiently. Also, he is an active member of the Product and Evaluation Committee at the KHCC, representing the Nursing Department. He coordinates all required efforts between the nurse's team and the committee during the evaluation process for new requested materials and other types of equipment.

Mohammad is a role model in compassion, exceptional care, and exemplary practice. During his daily work in the surgical unit, he actively participates with his staff, answering all the questions and providing the appropriate help and support for his nursing staff and other health care professionals. Mohammad plays a vital role in the quality improvement of health care services inside his unit as an effective way to achieve success. He facilitated the staff nurse's ability to undertake proper actions for improving the quality of care and using of best quality methodologies in order to achieve the desired outcomes. He secures the necessary resources to ensure the unit's successful quality improvement efforts.

The patient wrote on the DAISY Award nomination form, "When you need Mohammad, he is there and answers all of your concerns. He is truly an excellent nurse leader and person in many ways. He is pleasant, cooperative, accessible, always smiling, and saying good words for everyone. He is responsive to the needs of others." We are lucky to have Mohammad as a part of our nursing team, and we feel he exemplifies all of the qualities of a DAISY Nurse Leader.
