I'm so grateful and feel he is a huge part of my recovery. He gave me pep talks when I was feeling down and feeling I might not recover from my illness.
Mohammed has been my nurse for several days during two separate visits to the hospital. Each time he outshines all the other nurses in my care. Mohammed has a good habit of explaining all aspects of my care to me so I understand. He tells me what medication I am taking or what type of IV medication I have and what it is for. He checks for swelling and anything out of the ordinary. He treats me as if I were his family. After a long stay in the hospital, this type of care is what has helped me to keep my spirits up and get my strength back, to go home.
During my most recent stay in the hospital for an autoimmune disease issue, heart issue, and kidney biopsy, Mohammed made sure I understood dialysis as I was beginning that process. He would be concerned when my blood pressure would go a little high, which was out of the ordinary. He went through the doctor’s orders to l make sure I was receiving everything requested by my doctors, such as compression socks. After 3 weeks in the hospital he noticed I was not wearing compression socks and I had severe swelling in my legs and feet, after dialysis. He found 2 separate orders where it was requested that I receive compression socks but never did. I was unaware so I didn't question it. What a difference that made. The swelling was controlled and the pain/discomfort went away. This nurse is on top of his game and any patient would be blessed to have him take care of them. I'm so grateful and feel he is a huge part of my recovery. He gave me pep talks when I was feeling down and feeling I might not recover from my illness. He's amazing and I feel he is very much deserving of this award. The hospital needs more nurses like Mohammed.

He is an asset to your hospital. He was a very caring person who seemed very interested in his job. He was always prompt with my meds and would come and check in on me from time to time. I never once had to press the call light. He was a very outstanding nurse who should be recognized for it. He is an extraordinary nurse, Mohammed is extremely professional, courteous, and caring.

He helped my dad throughout his stay showing constant kindness and compassion. He’s an extraordinary nurse and both my dad and I appreciate his attention and dedication.
