I was going through a late stage miscarriage with my 23 week old twins. Devastating is all I can say describes the entire ordeal. While I had many nurses, there’s one specific nurse who has been a part of my life before this very sad day. Molly Hardaway, from Labor and Delivery is exceptional. She held my hand, wiped my tears and watched in agony as if grieving her own kids. She felt like love in a person could be contained. Held my babies and told me how beautiful they were. I wish there was more I could do give back to her in an ounce of comfort she gave me, she told me the one thing I always tell my own patients on their worst day when my reality hit me like a ton of bricks. “It’s okay to not be okay” and then it was when I knew I was going to be okay. God had given me a real life angel when I didn’t even ask for him. She helped deliver my daughter safely 2 years ago and that day she was back to deliver my sons and walked with me every minute of her shift. She was respectful of my wishes and made sure they were carried out the way I planned. She even watched over my husband and mother while their hearts broke too. Thank you Molly.
