She was so calming to him, I could see him beginning to trust he was going to be all right in her care.
My husband, J had sustained a serious injury to his right hand while doing woodworking in his shop. J does not do well with the sight of blood and there was enough of that. From the moment Morgan encountered J she was kind, efficient and compassionate, and also very intuitive. She immediately realized J’s squeamishness at the mere mention of his hand and she managed his care beautifully. She kept him talking about where he grew up, and what type of furniture he was building all the while in motion caring for him. She was so calming to him, I could see him beginning to trust he was going to be all right in her care. Morgan is forward-thinking and even administered his tetanus shot in his right arm knowing he would not be moving it around much. Morgan reassured him every step of the way in his care and explained everything and ensured J understood. I am sure Morgan sees people with all kinds of injuries but to J she made all the difference that day! He was terrified he was going to have his fingers or hand amputated. Thank you, Morgan, you are what a great nurse should be!!!! We were lucky to be in your care that day. We will be forever grateful and appreciative.
