Morgan floated in and out of the room like an angel of comfort, silently coming in to give him medications to make sure he never had a single uncomfortable moment.
My uncle was on the unit after the decision to go on comfort care. He was only 62. Out of every nurse who entered our room, Morgan was the biggest blessing we could ask for. She gave us the space we needed to be with him in his last hours and made sure that he was as comfortable as he could be. She listened to our concerns, advocated for him and us, and was just an overall blessing. She collaborated with us and made sure we knew we had a say in his care and comfort.

My Aunt described her as "ethereal". Morgan floated in and out of the room like an angel of comfort, silently coming in to give him medications to make sure he never had a single uncomfortable moment. She never disturbed us, only ever asked what she could do to make this time easier for us. Her compassion for her patients is evident, and the energy she carried with her was comforting. We never had to ask for a single thing. She was already there to ease any symptom that arose. She is a treasure to the unit and any patient for whom she has the opportunity to care. Her kindness in these moments made his passing so much easier.
