Once it became clear there was an issue, she stayed by our daughter’s side to administer treatments and was quick to request additional assistance.
Our daughter has been in the NICU for several weeks & they had to do surgery on her head to relieve pressure. After the surgery, there were some complications & she stopped breathing several times. When these episodes started to happen, Morgan was there right away. Once it became clear there was an issue, she stayed by our daughter’s side to administer treatments and was quick to request additional assistance. While the whole team was there helping, she maintained control of the team. At some points she would defer to others on points when they had more experience and would sometimes get a consensus on planned treatments. Over the next couple of hours, the team of 6-8 people was given tasks; there was no overlap of responsibilities, and communication was clear and concise; while this was going on, she was reassuring us while she was helping our daughter and asking how we were. After this was all over, she got our other little daughter a toy to help her feel better. She had confidence and was skilled but was also tempered with some humility and said the important thing is the best treatment for our daughter.
