For the past 20 years, Nancy Ade has been hosting the Day of Healing for all staff members of Memorial Hospital West. Nancy plans, organizes and participates in a day-long event that provides healing touch, massage, aromatherapy, blessing of the hands, medication, and healing energies. This day has been offered by Nancy to all healthcare workers. Nancy recognizes that caring for patients and families can be stressful, emotionally painful, exhausting, and joyful. Nurses and Healthcare Providers need a day of "relaxation and comfort" so they may continue on with all human caring. Nancy cares for the caregiver. Nancy is always a DAISY nurse.
