Nancy made calls and got in touch with the right people where even though we were in two different places, I was able to see my son on Angel Cam and it helped me bring my pressure down and my worries.
My son had a procedure and was admitted afterward. This nurse was absolutely amazing and caring. They had previously taken care of my other son. It was such a relief to see them and know my son was in good hands (as a nurse myself I was so worried about my children having surgery - sometimes you know too much). You can tell they truly love their job. They spent so much time explaining what to expect. I am not familiar with this procedure (I work in Critical Care!). My son woke up with a little bit of croupy cough post-procedure and they were on it - getting him a breathing treatment soon then after. It was such a relief knowing this nurse was there and my son was in such good hands. They treat their patients like their own children. They are truly a wonderful nurse and deserves to be recognized for it.

This nurse did an AMAZING job caring for our son while he was admitted. They brought it to the right person's attention that our son spent 8 hours in the ED with difficulty breathing. They took great care of our son and they were attentive and supportive to us as his parents during such a scary time.

My husband and I wanted to make you aware of this wonderful, knowledgeable, and compassionate nurse. They not only were attentive to me as the patient but was training a nursing student as well. As a family, we tried for several years to have a child of our own and although we had years to prepare ourselves and even taking all the wonderful classes offered by Lehigh Valley, we obviously didn't realize how scary and wonderful this event of bringing a baby into our lives would be and this nurse was there the entire time. Sorry, this is short with detail but time is limited with a newborn now I just wanted to write a little something to make sure this nurse would get the recognition.

This nurse was very helpful throughout the whole process. They did an amazing job teaching both me and the mother numerous parenting techniques. Both I and the mother are first time parents, and I must say, having this nurse here to help teach us about parenting sure did relieve our stress as a whole. They taught me how to swaddle, how to hold the baby, how to feed him properly, and how to change his diaper for the first time. They're very humble and understanding. They made sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed. I trust them fully with the care of my son. Therefore, I couldn't have asked for anyone better to help care for both my son and his mother.

I'm am now the mother of 6 beautiful children. This story started out as I had preeclampsia this pregnancy and been at the hospital for days. I went into induced labor at 36 weeks. This nurse was my solid rock when they took over my case. They were patient and kind as they learned I'm deaf and needed a sign language interpreter working with me one-on-one. They coached me when I was on the path of giving up, but I didn't and after 9 hard pushes, I gave birth to my son. The next evening, I learned my son needed to be transported to CCH from here because his jaundice levels were getting worse. I was lost and worried as I couldn't go with him ... This nurse had me again and I explained my situation and how I couldn't know what's going on and have access to him. They made calls and got in touch with the right people where even though we were in two different places, I was able to see my son on Angel Cam and it helped me bring my pressure down and my worries. They went out and set up a Mother's Day lunch table to bring to my room. They are God sent. I thank them from my whole heart for what they did for me and my son. Thank you. Thank you! This was more than just a job for you.
