Every time we are admitted to this ward for my baby boy, Natalie makes the effort to come and see how we are and makes a fuss about A. He absolutely adores her; she is as attentive to my needs as a breastfeeding mother under a lot of stress, and I am so comfortable with her to take my son while I get some rest. This has been the greatest gift at such a difficult time in our lives.

She offers to make me drinks, takes A to feed him, and rocks him to sleep. She even made me beans on toast at 3 a.m. She is amazing, and I can’t thank her enough for making our journey to recovery easier for my son as well as me.

My face lights up when she comes over and says she is our nurse for the day, and even when she isn’t assigned to be our nurse, she is there for us, and it makes all the difference. Seeing my baby boy smile when he sees her makes my heart melt.
