Natalie was my daytime nurse for both days I was in the hospital after I had my daughter. During my stay, I had few visitors and my husband had to stay with our 5 year old daughter at home. She would check in on my periodically. She always made time to talk to me even though I knew she was probably pretty busy. It made a big difference to me because I was lonely.
After that first day, I felt like she was a friend visiting. She had wonderful bedside manner and was interested in what I had to say and what we discussed. I was so happy on day two to see she was my nurse again and I told her so. She even helped us name my daughter! My husband and I could not decide what name to give the baby. After repeated attempts of the birth certificate rep to gather the paperwork, we were down to 10 minutes before she was to come back. She came back and after giving me my meds she asked if there was anything else she could do Well, my husband and I told her how we couldn't pick between names. She thought for a second and suggested to flip a coin. My husband and I looked at each other and said, "Good Idea! So we flipped a coin and got a name for her!
We will never forget the wonderful service she gave us and always feeling like I had a friend visiting while giving me care. My husband even recognized how wonderful she was and said so after she left the room. She went above and beyond on how she treated me and I feel like a made a friend for life. I hope to see her again and definitely if I have another baby, I hope I get her as my nurse again.
