Natalie went above and beyond when caring for my father - she was very attentive and proactive in meeting his needs. Whenever his status would start to decline, Natalie worked quickly and efficiently to get the help and intervention needed. Near the end of his time, my father wasn't talking much, yet that never seemed to bother Natalie. She always had a smile and great attitude when caring for him. She was able to put him at ease and helped him smile. Natalie cared for my father and she cared for me and my family. She listened to our needs and concerns and answered any questions we had. Natalie called to tell me that my father wasn't doing very well and we needed to come to the hospital. She went above and beyond her duties and held the phone to him so I could talk to him. She stayed with my father, talking to him and holding his hand until I arrived. She showed so much compassion for my father and family. Her presence ensured that, if I had not been able to make it before he was gone, my father would not have died scared and alone. This provided a much needed sense of comfort and relief to me.

Natalie should be recognized for her commitment to her patients and families. She is a caring and compassionate nurse and a true advocate. We always knew we were in good hands when she was our nurse.
