I would like to take this opportunity to honour an exceptional nurse from the pediatric clinic, Nesrin Atallah. I was attending the clinic with my little boy for a follow-up. He was feeling poorly and crying a lot. I had two of my other children with me at the time and to say that I had my hands full was an understatement! I arrived at the clinic preparing to wait a while because I had missed my initial follow up appointment and really needed for the doctor to see my child. Nesrin was a real blessing. She welcomed me warmly (even though I wasn't on the appointment list) and immediately took charge of ensuring that I would be seen soon. She saw that I was really busy keeping my children in check so she distracted them with things to do so that I could concentrate on the paperwork etc. She made sure that my visit to the clinic went smoothly and before I knew it, I was finished and on my way home. Thank you Nesrin for taking care of a tired mom!
