She spent extra time helping the patient wash up, style her hair, take laps around the unit for some much-needed exercise, and tidy her room. This thoughtful and personalized attention not only met the patient’s physical needs but also significantly improved their emotional well-being. As a result, the patient was noticeably calmer and more comfortable, even going a record amount of time without being agitated or needing assistance. This is a true testament to Nicole’s ability to connect with patients and provide compassionate, individualized care.
