Nicole was caring for patient who has end stage disease. He asked her if she could have a pastor come visit him for some issues that he needed to resolve prior to his passing.

Nicole felt very determined and strongly that this was a big NEED for patient's well being. It was after hours for our chaplin services but Nicole would not give up when she found out that the hospital does not have services available after regular business hours expect for a death. In the words of the patient, "I will not need a pastor after I pass. That will be a need of my family then." The patient explained that he was a Christian but needed to speak to a pastor and resolve some sins so he could feel at peace.

Patient was seen by a pastor from the community. The Patient and Nicole both report that the patient slept better and felt more at peace than he has since admission.
