Nicole was B's nurse the second day we were here and even though they changed our room, Nicole still came to care for our daughter. She was MORE than what I could ask for. She held B like she was her very own. She comforted her and held her. You could tell our baby felt loved and safe in her arms. Nicole kept us updated and explained everything to us so we could understand. B went through a lot here. At first they couldn't get an IV started, sticking her several times. Then they were unsuccessful with the lumbar puncture after 16 sticks. B pulled her IV out twice. While getting stuck for her last IV, Nicole comforted B kissing her on the forehead and talking to her. It warmed my heart. I pray that her act of kindness does not go unrecognized.
