We cannot say enough about the nurse taking care of B on the last day of his life. To say she went above and beyond the call of duty doesn't nearly describe the impact on our family and her patient. She is extremely compassionate, caring, thoughtful, kind, and competent. We were beyond blessed to have her there. She made such an impact on us and we are so very thankful for her loving care. She was truly a gift to us that day and night. And she stayed 2 hours past her shift to stay with us. Who does that? Carroll hospital is a better hospital because she is on staff - no doubt. All the staff on this unit made B's time here less difficult. Thank you for making his leaving this life and going on to the next a peaceful one and allowing us all to be there with him. God bless each of you for the work you do and making hard situations better because you care.
