Nikki was my husband's ICU nurse yesterday when very hard decisions were made. She made sure that I was informed and she was very comforting by the level of her care she provided not only to my husband and me, but our children who are devastated by their dad's condition.

Nikki's passion is patient safety. She is a champion for pressure ulcer prevention. I see her effortlessly provide education and encouragement to our staff and families relation to skin issues as well as general safety concerns. Nikki cares for our patients in so many ways but her passion for preventing PU is so effortless and compelling that I admire her tremendously.
