My husband came in for a toe amputation and ended up with other complications; he got moved to 6A for 4 weeks of strong antibiotics, his condition worsened, and had to be moved to Critical Care. But Nikki was the one to really pushed him and he came to trust her, she got hardcore with him and let him know if he didn't start moving it was going to get harder, so I thank her from the bottom of my heart for being stern with him. A lot of people could learn from her because when you're down, it takes that special person to be tough and motivate you. She saw to his needs; we had faith and trust in her as she is a special kind of angel nurse to our family and we will never forget how good she was. Because I do believe if she hadn't been hard and said things to him that he needed to hear we wouldn't be on our way to getting his heart surgery that he so badly needs. So, as for me and my family, she was our special angel looking over him. It takes special people to do what she does daily and I know she'll be that special nurse and angel for her next patient who comes along. She'll always hold a special place in our hearts for getting D to move and get him to do what was needed. So thank you Nikki for being there for him. God bless you always.
